Waring family.
Residents of Columbia, S.C.; architect and contractor Clark Waring was a native of New York (probably Arcadia in Wayne County, N.Y.); in 1867, Waring married Malvina Sarah Black Gist, a native of Newberry, S.C., and the widow of William Morena Gist; Clark Waring died, 1913, in Winnsboro, S.C.
