Cox, Manning.

Hide Profile

Manning Cox and his family came to Washington State in 1889. This autobiography recalls his memories of him and his family's life in the region. The majority of his recollections are about his time at Whitman College. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Literature in 1910. That fall he was offered a teaching job in Bremerton, WA. This is where the autobiography ends. But, it appears that he taught in schools in Ballard and Broadway. He taught at the Roosevelt School. It is unclear when he passed away but it must have been prior to 1969.
