Mr. Luke's Gaalee'ya Spirit Camp gives students of all ages the opportunity to explore language, math, science, athletics, computing, art and the outdoors from a Native perspective ans set within a structure of Native values. Mr. Luke is a noted Athabascan craftsman and expert on the construction of canoes, dog sleds and other traditional Athabascan hand-crafted items. Howard Luke Academy in Fairbanks, Alaska is named after Mr. Luke.
