Wharton, Charles Newton, 1867-1919.
Charles Newton Wharton was graduated from Davidson College in 1890. While a student, he was a member of the Philanthropic Society. After graduation, he attended Union Theological Seminary. He was a pastor in Kentucky, North Carolina and Alabama.
