First Baptist Church of Clemson (Clemson, S.C.)
In 1907 it was determined that a church should be founded for Clemson College students and families belonging to the Baptist denomination. By 1912 work had begun on the structure. T.V. McCaul of Virginia was given pastoral duties. Clemson College Baptist Church held its first services on April 6, 1913. In 1970, the church officially had its name changed to First Baptist Church of Clemson.
