Farr (born February 5, 1915 in Scranton, Pa.) earned an AB degree from Lafayette College in 1938. While at Lafayette, he was president of the Marquis Association, the business manager of The Touchstone, a member of the Knights of the Round Table (KRT) Honors Society, and a member of Student Council. After graduation, Farr worked for the Philadelphia Electric Company and later worked as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Invesitgation. Farr served as a Unit Commander during World War II.
