Columbia University A.M., 1944 & Ph.D., 1951; Professor of history at the University of Houston, 1952-1963; Professor of history at Hunter College, 1964-1968; Professor of History at Lehman College since 1968. She wrote "English constitutional theory and the House of Lords, 1556-1832" in 1965 and co-authored "British constitutional history since 1832" (Princeton, Van Nostrand [1957]) and "Cardinal documents in British history" (Princeton, Van Nostrand [1961]) with Robert Livingston Schuyler.
