Thomas Lippincott was a Quaker from Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born to John Lippincott and Anna Matlack on the 14th of the 11th month, 1756. In 1782 he married Lydia Burr, daughter of Joseph Burr of the Township of New Hanover; the couple had six children together. He died October 15 1821 and was buried in Westfield in the 65th year of his age.
