Chappie, Eugene A., 1920-1992.
Mr. Chappie was appointed to a vacant seat on the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors in 1950; he served as a California Assembly member from 1965-1974; during his tenure, he was the chair of several Committees. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1980-1986.
