The Veterans' Council of Chatham County is an organization of representatives from various veterans' organizations (e.g. American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, etc.) who administer projects common to all the organizations. These projects include, but are not limited to entertainment, bonus bill, politics, memorials, and they name the Veteran of the Year. Prior to 1955, the organization was named the Veterans' Council of Administration.
