Huntington, Henry A., 1865-1912
Variant namesHenry A. Huntington, sutler of St. Louis, Mo., followed Union armies through the South selling clothing, including uniforms; camp furniture; and other goods to soldiers and officers. Huntington apparently did not have a sutler's license, and so relied on influential friends to assist him in plying his trade.
