Kerr, Bleeka Ritch (Bleeka M. Ritch), 1896-1984
Bleeka Ritch, of Charlotte, N.C., maintained a correspondence with several servicemen during World War I, who wrote of their military experiences during the war. Around 1920, Bleeka married Thomas F. Kerr, a cotton merchant and later an insurance agent. During World War II, Bleeka collected letters written to Helen F. Johnston by servicemen.
