Variant namesBorn November 17, 1840 in Lake County, Illinois. Moved to Denver, Colo. in 1879 to supervise construction of Tabor Block (Denver, Colo.) and Tabor Grand Opera House (Denver, Colo.). Designed commercial, institutional, and domestic architecture. Founding member of the Colorado AIA. Final architect for the Colorado State Capitol. Retired in 1915. Died 1921.
