Lovisco, Niel, 1900-1981

In the 1920s, Lovisco ran "The Catacombs," a combination art gallery-tea room in New York City's Greenwich Village. He later operated the Bearskin Neck Art Gallery, Rockport, Mass. (1946-1949), Art Center Gallery, New York, N.Y. (1950s), and the Lovisco Gallery, New York, N.Y. (1957-1973) and Gloucester, Mass. (1973-1979).
