Mount Holyoke College. Board of Trustees. Conference Committee
The Conference Committee (sometimes known as the Committee on Conference), was established in 1925 in response to a proposal made by Mount Holyoke faculty members. The purpose of the Committee was to promote cooperation and communication among College trustees, the faculty as represented by members of the Faculty Conference Committee, and students as represented by members of the Student Conference Committee (also known as the Student Advisory Committee to the Trustees). Members of the committee are also involved in the selection of recipients of honorary degrees from the College.
