Granados, Juan

An Assistant Professor of Art at Texas Tech, Granados and his family were at one time migrant workers. His ceramic pieces are influenced by his childhood relationship with the earth, and he strongly carries these themes into his work. Several of his pieces have been recognized and published. He was born in Floydada, Texas in 1962. Granados recieved his BA in 1987 from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and his MFA from Ohio State University in 1991.
