University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire. Women's Studies Program.
The Women's Studies Program coordinates teaching, research, and scholarship in women's studies at the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire. A Women's Studies Committee was established at the university in the mid-1970s, in conjunction with a UW System initiative to consider women's studies in the curriculum. The program offered a minor for many years. In 2006, the program received approval to offer a major.
