Johnson, Absalom Y. (Absalom Yarbrough), 1821-1907
First chief engineer of the Louisville Fire Dept., soldier, and city councilman. Johnson served as commander of Camp Joe Holt, Ind., commander of the 28th Kentucky Infantry Regiment, and commander of the 7th Regiment of the Invalid Corps at Camp Chase, Ohio.
