Mason family.
Lowell B. Mason (1893-1983) was an attorney, Illinois state senator (Republican) from the twenty-third district (1923-1930) and a member of the Federal Trade Commission (1946-1956). His brother Roderick W. Mason (b. 1889) served as a lieutenant in the 132nd Infantry during World War I.
Lowell Mason was also a candidate for Illinois attorney general in 1932. Lowell and Roderick were sons of United States senator William Ernest Mason (1850-1921).
