Hughes, Harrie L. (Harrie Lewis), 1899-2006
Harrie Lewis Hughes was born in 1899 and first arrived in Alaska, at Dillingham, in 1929. In 1944 he set up an electrical service and supply store in Fairbanks, Alaska, with his wife Clare. He was active in the business community of Fairbanks and was a member and president of the Pioneers of Alaska Igloo No. 4.
