Walker, Cabaniss and Brickell (ca. 1851-1857).
The law firm of Walker, Cabaniss and Brickell was located in Huntsville, Madison Co., Ala. The firm was composed of Robert C. Brickell, who moved to Huntsville in 1851, and who served as a Justice, then Chief Justice, of the Ala. Supreme Court, 1873-1884 and 1894-1898; Septimus D. Cabaniss, and Gen. LeRoy Walker, the senior partner, who served in the cabinet of Jefferson Davis in the Civil War. The firm dissolved in 1857 when Cabaniss retired.
