Fiore, Bonnie Irvine.

Henry Fiore, a native of Queens, New York, was born around 1916 to Michael and Carmel Fiore, both Italian immigrants. After entering the United States Army as a private in May 1941, he initially joined Battery F of the 187th Field Artillery Regiment. Fiore was stationed at Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont, until at least mid-1942, and later served in the Pacific Theater with the 711th Tank Battalion after being promoted to lieutenant. In December 1946, he decided to reenlist in the army. His wife, Bonnie Irvine, remained in New York City throughout most of the war and volunteered with the Red Cross in 1946.
