E. E. (Elvira Evelina) Worth Moffitt (1836-1930) was the daughter of North Carolina governor Jonathan Worth. She married first Samuel Spencer Jackson (died 1875), second Samuel Walker (died 1877), and third Eli Needham Moffitt (died 1886). She was a member of various clubs and worked on various civic, cultural, and historical projects in Raleigh, N.C., and Richmond, Va.
