Burdine, John Wesley.
Confederate soldier. J.W. Burdine was from Choctaw County, Mississippi, but later lived in Anderson District, South Carolina, where he enlisted in the 4th South Carolina Infantry Regiment. Burdine was paroled as a prisoner of war in 1865. His wife was Lucinda Burdine.
