Adams, Wayne Womack, 1877-1951.
Southern Baptist missionary to Tengchow, China, in the Shantung Province. He served along with his wife in Tengchow from 1908 until his retirement from the Foreign Mission Board in 1943. As part of his work in China, Adams directed a school for boys for one year and served as president of the North China Mission. He worked alongside Lottie Moon in Tengchow and carefully selected Scriptures for printing in Chinese to be distributed in preaching.
