The University Staff Association represented the clerical, technical, and professional non-academic employees of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. The Association represented various non-academic employees since 1932, first as the Detroit Association of School Secretaries, later as the Wayne Chapter of the Detroit Association of Educational Secretaries, and in 1956 as the Wayne State University Office Personnel Association.
In January, 1963, the name was changed to the University Staff Association.
