Wing, Charles B.

Charles B. Wing was Professor of Civil Engineering at Stanford University from 1892 to 1929. He received his engineer's degree from Cornell University in 1886, taught there from 1886-1890, and was on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin before coming to Stanford. Prof. Wing was one of the Cornell founders of the Sigma Xi Society (now known as Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society of North America).
