The Executive Assistant to Health and Human Services serves as the key policy advisor to the governor on health issues, and acts as liaison to the departments of Aging, Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, Health, Job and Family Services, Mental Health, and Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Greg Moody served in the Taft administration from 1999 until 2004, when he was replaced by fellow Taft appointee Christine Oliver.
