Golden Gate Park (San Francisco, Calif.). Office of the Park Commissioners.
The Golden Gate Park Lodge, now know as the McLaren Lodge, was originally built in 1896 to house John McLaren, the park superintendent and the park administration. McLaren lived in the lodge until his death in 1943.
