Entomologist.
Born on February 14,1882 in Brookline, Massachussetts. He earned a B.A from Harvard in 1904. He attended Harvard Medical School but chose to pursue entomology. He travelled around the world seeking specimens. In 1946, he became a patron member of the California Academy of Sciences and donated a substantial collection of weevils to the Academy. He died in Montara, California in 1958.
