Cadwell, Isaac
Postmaster, of Bristol, Vt., from 1805-1816. In 1819 he was arrested, tried, and imprisoned for failure to keep proper accounts resulting in debt to the U.S. Government. He was pardoned in Oct., 1819 by President James Monroe.
