Kies, David F., 1944- ,
Kies (1944- ) served with the 173rd Army Airborne before volunteering for Recon in the 503rd Infantry and became a double amputee during the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and also worked as a draftsman after his discharge.
