Cambridge University Cruising Club

Hide Profile

The Club was formed in the 1880s, marking the start of sailing at Cambridge University. Today it competes in university team races, which culminate in the University Championships (BUSA) at Easter, and nationally in the UK Team Racing Championships (UKTRA) and the major UK international event, the Wilson Trophy. There is also a Varsity Sailing Match against Oxford. Cambridge has competed internationally, and won the inaugural Eastern European Team Racing Championships, held in the Czech Republic.
