BIOGHIST REQUIRED Writer. Ella Winter (1898-1980) whose full name was Leonore Sophie Winter Steffens Stewart, was an economist by training and journalist by profession. She was married to Lincoln Steffens, and after his death, to screenwriter and playwright Donald Ogden Stewart.
