Noble was an attorney and politician; served in Congress 1853-1855.

Born in Williamstown, Mass., Nov. 9, 1802, Son of Deodatus & Betsy Noble. Grad. from Williams College in 1825. Studied in law office in Albany, N.Y. 1925; in 1926 became assistant editor of the Columbiad, Hudson, N.Y. In 1927 opened a law office in New York. In 1831 moved to Monroe, Mich. and had law office with Warner Wing., Elected City Recorder in 1333, Mayor in 1842. In 1845 elected to Mich. legislature, in 1352 elected to Congress I from second district. Died at Monroe Oct. 13, 1876. Married Sarah Ann Shaw July 19, 1832. (from Bulkley. Hist.
