Dorothy North Haskins (Bryn Mawr College class of 1909) worked at Hull House from 1910 to 1917, and then worked as a relief worker under the auspices of the American Friends Service Committee in France, Austria, and Russia, from 1917 to 1923. In 1934, Haskins married Sidney G. Haskins and moved with him to Ongar, Essex County, England, where she served as President of the Women's Institute from 1936 to 1948. They moved to Lake Forest, Illinois in 1949, where she died in 1962.
