Hazelton, George C. (George Cochrane), 1832-1922
Variant namesGeorge Cochrane Hazelton was born in Chester, New Hampshire in 1832. In 1863, he moved to Wisconsin and practiced law. In 1867, Hazelton became a member of the Wisconsin State Senate and was later a Congressman (1877-1883). In 1879, he and his family traveled to California to visit friends. He died in 1922.
