Alexander Cole Munroe (1831-1911), of Worcester, Mass., was one of the founders of the Worcester County Musical Association (1863), serving as its secretary for twenty-three years and briefly as president. He was a leading organizer of the Worcester Music Festivals and a member of many local choirs and musical societies. Munroe also owned and operated the Worcester County Insurance Agency at 442 Main Street.
