Lumber Inspectors' Union. B.C. Division. Local No. 1.
The Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau began as an association in 1943 and then became the Lumber Inspector's Union - B.C. Division, Local No. 1, CCL. In 1961 the union merged with the IWA to form Local 1-288 and it became the sole bargaining agency for all inspectors employed by the Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau.
