Odlin, Elisha, 1709-1752.
Elisha Odlin (1709-1752) was a native of Exeter, N.H., who became the third minister of the First Congregational Church of Amesbury, Mass. He was a 1731 graduate of Harvard College and, before becoming a minister, was the Exeter schoolkeeper, and served as town clerk and selectman. He was a supporter and confidant of Governor Jonathan Belcher and Province Secretary Richard Waldron.
