Gwynedd Preparative Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Hicksite : 1827-1936). Women's Meeting.

Gwynedd Preparative Meeting was established in 1702. In 1714, the preparative meeting was transferred to Gwynedd Monthly Meeting. In 1827, after the Hicksite Separation in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, the meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. In 1936, Gwynedd Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) was established as Gwynedd Monthly Meeting at the dissolution of the original Gwynedd Monthly Meeting (Hicksite). From 1936 to 1974, Gwynedd Preparative Meeting held annual sessions as a separate meeting for business ofGwynedd Monthly Meeting.
