Thurber, Albert King, 1826-1888
Variant namesBorn in Rhode Island, immigrated to California in 1849 where he joined the LDS Church en route; married and settled in Spanish Fork. Later moved to Richfield and explored the Wayne County, Utah area.

Thurber was convert to the LDS Church. He served several missions, including one to England in 1865. He was also a member of the Utah legislature, and later served as a delegate to the legislature.
