Aldrich, Ronnie
Pianist Ronnie Aldrich was born in 1916. He was drafted into the Royal Air Force in World War 2, and by 1940 was playing the piano with the RAF Dance orchestra, which eventually found fame as 'The Squadronaires'. After they disbanded in 1964, Aldrich became musical director of Thames Television, and also recorded nineteen LPs featuring 'twin pianos', on the Phase 4 label. He died in 1993
