Rathbun, Henry Howe, Sr., 1891-1948.

Henry H. Rathbun was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and graduated from Purdue University in 1913. In 1914 he came to New York State and purchased a farm in Oriskany Falls, Oneida County. He was a leader in the dairy industry, pioneering in the development of the Dairymen's League Cooperative Association, of which he served as president from 1945 until his death in 1948. He was also president of the National Milk Producers' Federation, a member of the executive committee of the New York State Republican organization, and the National Republican Club.
