Pennington, Jasper Green

Jasper Green Pennington, Episcopal clergyman, was born in 1939. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1973 and became rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Ypsilanti, Michigan, in 1983, a position he held until his retirement in 2001. During his retirement he served at other Episcopal churches in Southeastern Michigan, including St. Clement's in Inkster, Michigan. Pennington has had a great interest in historic preservation, and has been active in the restoration of Ypsilanti's Highland Cemetery, and as a member of the Washtenaw County Historic District Commission.
