Henry Roemer McPhee (b. 1925) served as General Attorney in Office of General Counsel of the Federal Trade Commission in 1954, as Special Assistant to the President's Economic Advisor from 1954 to 1957, as Assistant Special Counsel to the President from 1957 to 1958, and as Associate Special Counsel to the President from 1958 to 1961.

Henry Roemer McPhee, Jr. (1925- ) is a lawyer who served as an economic advisor and special counsel to President Eisenhower. McPhee graduated from Princeton University in 1946 and Harvard University Law School in 1950. In July 1954, he joined Eisenhower's staff as special assistant to the President's Special Assistant for Domestic and International Affairs, Gabriel Hague. In this position, he aided in the administration of economic and political policies, working with every major department of the executive branch. In March of 1957, McPhee became assistant to the Special Counsel to the President, Gerald D. Morgan, and in the fall of 1958 became Associate Special Counsel to the President. In this capacity, he frequently worked directly with President Eisenhower. In January 1961, after the end of Eisenhower's second term as president, McPhee entered into the practice of law in Washington, D.C., specializing in issues concerning the federal government. He later became a partner in the firm Hamel, Morgan, Park & Saunders, also in Washington, D.C.
