Harry L. Moore was an assistant to the international president of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association (GBBA). He served as a Captain in the United States Army during World War II (1942-1945). Returning to the GBBA, he became president of local 127 (1947-1953) and local 66 (1953-1958), an international representative (1961-1965), an international executive officer (1965-1971), and the director of legislation (1971). He finished his career as director of field services for the successor union to the GBBA, the Glass, Molders, Pottery, Plastics & Allied Workers International Union.
