Nay, George A., 1842-1909.
George A. Nay, the son of Anisa S. and Lucretia Marsh Nay, was born in 1842 in Georgia, Vermont, and served as a private in Company M of First Vermont Regiment Cavalry, Vermont Volunteers in the Civil War. He enlisted on September 10, 1864, and mustered out on June 21, 1865. He died on April 5, 1909 in Montpelier, Vermont. His sister, Frances Nay, was born in June of 1851 and married Henry Nye on March 10, 1875 in Cambridge, Vermont.
