Donald Linwood Hardy (b. 1908, Chicago, Ill.-d. July 12, 1987), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from West Point in 1932 and from Advance Flying School the following year. He served in Hawaii and California before graduating from the Air Corps Technical School and being assigned as Photographic Officer with the 22nd Observation Squadron. During the years of World War II, he organized the Photographic Group at Air Service Command (ASC) headquarters, served as deputy chief of staff and chief, Supply Division, of the China-Burma-India ASC. After the War, General Hardy was air attaché at the American Embassies in Sweden and Denmark. He later served as inspector general, Air Materiel Command, and in 1962 became executive director, supply operations, Defense Supply Agency. He retired from Air Force service in 1965.
