Dawson, Anne, 1896-1989
Anne Dawson was born in London on 29 October 1896. During the First World War, she joined an intelligence unit that reported to GHQ Army for covert work behind enemy lines. From 1919 to 1922, Dawson first worked for the British High Commissioner to the Inter-Allied Rhineland High Commission based in Koblenz. She married Xavier François Marie Gérard Wolters; the pair moved to Eindhoven in 1932. Later in life she published several books. She died on 9 October 1989 in Eindhoven.
